Davey Leavitt, aka Davey Detail (born 1983), is an American multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Los Angeles, CA. He is most notable for his former role as co-founder + creative director for the artist duo CYRCLE. (2010-2020). Through CYRCLE., Davey gained international acclaim for his early contributions to street art culture. His work has been featured in numerous books, magazines, and online publications. Davey's murals can be seen worldwide in public spaces, upscale restaurants, and renowned hotels, such as Rossoblu, Aria Resort and Casino, and The Freehand Hotel, to name a few. His fine artworks have been included in the public collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, the Museum of Contemporary Art Puerto Rico, Urban Nation Museum Berlin, and in the private collections of notable figures such as Shepard Fairey, Ari Emanuel, and Sean Combs. Davey has collaborated with numerous iconic brands and artists, including HBO, DC, Reebok, A Bathing Ape, Pharrell Williams, Swizz Beatz, Steve Aoki, and TED Prize winner- JR, amongst others,, and was the featured talent in Audi, New Balance, and Uber commercials. Davey's work is often expressed conceptually within the context of cultural narratives, duality, and the human condition.
