Yes. Every artist working with Strata signs a confidentiality agreement before we're looped into any communications, contracts, or financials. We don't share your rates, client relationships, or project details — and we don't solicit your clients independently. It's your business; we're the operational layer behind it.

What if I already have a project underway and want to add Strata mid-project?

That's fine. We can step into an active project at any phase — whether that means taking over remaining logistics, jumping into ongoing developer communication, or handling final invoicing and payment collection. Tell us where you are, and we'll scope what we can pick up from there.

Do I lose creative control over my work?

No. Strata manages the business side — logistics, negotiations, invoicing, scheduling. Creative direction, artist selection of projects, and final say on your work always stays with you. We handle what surrounds the mural, not the mural itself.

How is this different from just hiring my own assistant?

An assistant handles tasks you assign. Does Strata take a cut of my project?

No. Hard costs (permits, lifts, materials) stay in your project budget —
we source and negotiate them so you pay less, not more. Our fee is
transparent and separate: Self-Guided is free. Coordinator is $X/month per active project. Agent is $X/month plus X% of the developer rate we negotiate above your baseline quote. You never pay us from project revenue unless we're actively negotiating rates with the developer.

Who owns the artwork and the client relationship?

You do. You hold the copyright, the credit, and the relationship. Strata operates behind the project — never in front of it.

Is it exclusive? Am I locked in?

Neither. Strata isn't a rep or an agency, so nothing is exclusive. Change tiers or cancel any time — active projects finish out under the level you started them on.

Who pays for permits, lifts, and materials?

Hard costs stay in the project budget, as they always have. Strata sources, negotiates, and coordinates them so they're priced correctly and land on time.

Do I have to use Strata on WXLLSPACE projects?

Never. Strata is opt-in and open to every artist on the platform. Projects run exactly as they do today if you'd rather handle logistics yourself.

What size projects is this for?

Anything from a 500 SQFT commission to a multi-wall installation. The framework scales; the standards don't change.
