Stop Guessing. Find the Mural Style That Fits Your Property.

Most developers know they want a mural. Almost none know what style to ask for. Art Style Discovery solves that in minutes — no design background required.
The Problem

"I Know It When I See It" Isn't a Brief.

Every developer has instinct. The problem is translating it into something an artist can execute — and your marketing team,
ownership, and city liaison will approve.

No clear style direction means vague proposals, revision rounds that stretch your timeline, and approval friction that could have
been resolved at the brief stage. Art Style Discovery is the brief you can hand to an artist, your stakeholders, and the city
on day one.
How It Works

Three Steps from No Idea to a Clear Brief

01

Browse Real Commercial Murals

Every image is a completed installation by a WXLLSPACE network artist on a real property. Not stock. Not renderings. Each tagged with AI analysis of style, palette, and composition.
What you're browsing: Hundreds of commercial installations across multifamily, mixed-use, retail, office, and hospitality — filterable by mural style and property type.
02

Click Murals You Like

No forms. No style vocabulary. Just browse and like the ones that feel right for your property. Your selections train a style analysis that captures what you genuinely respond to — not what you think you should want.
What you're doing: Training the analysis on your actual preferences — not what you think you should want, but what you genuinely respond to when you see it.
03

Get Your Style Profile

Submit your selections. The analysis aggregates your AI tags — finding the patterns you responded to, even the ones you couldn't name. You receive a named style profile, a brief ready to use, and a curated artist shortlist.
What you receive: A downloadable PDF analysis, three specific brief bullets for your wall listing, and a curated artist shortlist filtered for commercial experience and availability.
The Value

A Clear Brief Reduces Risk. Every Week.

Ambiguity in the concept phase adds time, cost, and internal friction. A clear style direction resolves it before sketches begin.

Faster Concept Approval

When an artist knows what you want before they sketch anything, the first concept lands closer to approval. Fewer revision rounds means a shorter timeline from contract to install.

Stronger Internal Alignment

The style analysis gives every stakeholder — ownership, marketing, legal, the city liaison — a shared visual reference before the concept is presented. Disputes happen at the brief stage, not after three weeks of design work.

Better Artist Proposals

Artists who receive a style-matched brief submit more relevant proposals. Attach your Art Style Discovery results to a wall listing and proposing artists know exactly what aesthetic range you're working in.

A Documented Creative Decision

Your style analysis creates a paper trail for the creative direction. If questions arise during design review or community engagement, you have a documented rationale — not just a subjective preference.
The Technology

How the AI Tagging Works

Every mural uploaded to the WXLLSPACE platform is automatically analyzed before it enters the gallery. The analysis runs across three layers — and those layers are what powers your style match.
01

Style Category

Each image is assigned up to three tags from the WXLLSPACE commercial taxonomy: Abstract, Geometric, Botanical, Figurative, Photorealistic, Typographic, Cultural, Landscape, Branded, and Illustrative. Most images carry a primary and one or two secondary tags — reflecting that most strong commercial murals blend styles.
What you're browsing: Hundreds of commercial installations across multifamily, mixed-use, retail, office, and hospitality — filterable by mural style and property type.
02

Palette and Tone

The AI evaluates color temperature (warm/cool/neutral), palette complexity (limited/complex), contrast level, and tonal mood (bold/soft/monochromatic). These are the invisible dimensions you're responding to when a mural feels right — or wrong — for a space.
What you're doing: Training the analysis on your actual preferences — not what you think you should want, but what you genuinely respond to when you see it.
03

Compositional Structure

The AI evaluates whether the composition is structured or expressive, dense or open, figurative or abstract in its spatial organization. This explains why two murals in the same style category can feel completely different in a space.
What you receive: A downloadable PDF analysis, three specific brief bullets for your wall listing, and a curated artist shortlist filtered for commercial experience and availability.

How Developers Use It

The Clearest Brief Is the One You Didn't Have to Write

Pre-wall listing

One revision round instead of three

A development manager in Austin attached their Art Style Discovery results to their wall listing. All three proposals landed within the correct aesthetic range. First concept approved in a single round.

Internal alignment

Eight executives. One shared brief.

A VP of Development ran their ownership group through Art Style Discovery independently. The analysis surfaced a shared preference for geometric abstraction that nobody had been able to name — and gave the team a defensible direction for city review.

Portfolio program

One brief per property. Six properties.

A development associate used Art Style Discovery to build a distinct style brief for each of six active properties — matched to each asset's tenant demographic and architectural context. Average concept approval time dropped across the portfolio.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I run the analysis for each of my properties, or do I have to do it once and apply it everywhere?

I don't have any instinct for mural styles — will this still work for me? Or what if I just like everything I see?
