My abstract paintings and murals use an extremely vibrant color palette combined with iconography from pre-colombian era/ancient Mexican art in modern ways .My aesthetic is an accumulation of my lived experiences: growing up in Miami in a highly multicultural family, becoming involved in the East Coast Electronic Music scene, and attempting to bridge the gap between ancestral memory and contemporary life as a first-generation American. I thrive on transforming public spaces into places of dialogue and reflection, using bold colors, intricate patterns, and symbolism to tell stories that reflect the unique character of the surrounding community.
I collaborate extensively with community members to ensure installations not only beautifies the area but also honor the history, values, and aspirations of the people who live and work there. I approach each project with a focus on accessibility and inclusivity, aiming to create art that engages residents across generational, cultural, and socioeconomic lines.
