I have cultivated my skills as a painter for over a decade, initially exploring poetry and oil painting while pursuing my BFA at the San Francisco Art Institute. However, the roots of my creative journey extend back to my childhood spent in the woods behind my home. The forest became my sanctuary, a place where I felt both small as an observer and powerful as a storyteller鈥攁 duality that continues to fuel my passion for painting. Nature, with its boundless diversity and unwavering resilience, remains an endless source of inspiration for my artistic endeavors. Currently, I am teamed up with 'Tomorrow's Artist,' a recycling company that collects, sorts, and filters discarded paint from consumer drop-off sites, to then create high-quality paint for artists. Tomorrow's Artist paint is professional exterior-grade, water-based acrylic designed for exposure to year-round conditions. Since I'm working with repurposed paint, my designs are constructed in such a way for viewers to reconnect with nature, to become advocates for conservation, and sustainable living.
