In my work, I explore a child-like sense of playfulness through murals consisting of bold colors, funky shapes, and some recognizable imagery. I intend that my art will be engaging and create a moment of positivity in my viewer’s day. I combine my fun art style while drawing inspiration from the community for which I’m painting to create unique work that adds value to that specific location. I use heavy-duty paint on interior and exterior surfaces to create passionate and vibrant murals. My work is a collaboration between myself, the project teams, and the community. I've worked directly with diverse neighborhoods to get their input on mural designs and host community painting days, fostering the connection between art, place, and community.
Funky Paths and Friendly Peaks
This mural was created on downtown Frisco's pedestrian and cycle path. This mural was part of a yearly project the Arts Commission organizes to brighten the downtown. Artists have mostly free creative control over what they create. This mural was part of 8 total installed throughout the city.

Collecting Dreams
This mural was a collaboration between the community and me. I placed “Dream Boxes” throughout Denver to gather residents’ thoughts on how the city sparks creativity and inspires big dreams. Each illustration reflects a theme drawn from their feedback, forming a playful, vibrant design that celebrates Denver’s diverse voices and unites them under shared aspirations.

This area is surrounded by family activities, such as the pool and baseball fields. This project aimed to create something inviting and fun that many ages would enjoy. I worked with the Windsor Arts Commission on this project.

This mural was part of a downtown mural festival, where artists were invited to create murals that would be auctioned off, with proceeds going to the artists and the city.

Growing Highlawn
This mural was created in the Highlawn neighborhood, identified as one of the most distressed in the City. In partnership with Bloomberg Philanthropies, it aims to slow down traffic, create a sense of place, and unite the community. After meeting with the neighborhood of Highlawn to get their input on mural design and learn more about their history, culture, community, etc., I created two different mural designs that reflected everything I had learned. The neighbors voted on their favorite design, the winning design showing their native plants, representing the nearby river, and merging old and new residents.
