I'm Eric Karbeling, a muralist and visual artist based in Honolulu, Hawai’i, specializing in art that celebrates freedom, motion, balance, and joy through my style of boldly colored improvisational forms, aka squiggles. At the core of how I paint is the idea that there is no right or wrong way to do something. Wild, loose brushstrokes and colors that don’t seem like they should work come together into something beautiful, transforming ordinary spaces into memorable places. I deliver bold and meaningful murals and design packages to cities, schools, major brands, real estate projects, sports teams, local companies, mural festivals, music festivals, community organizations, and more. Whether it's a huge mural on a city wall, a more smaller more intimate piece of fine art, or a custom design for a brand/products I aim to create art that feels alive and not only stands out visually but also resonates culturally.
