The story
“This optical illusion artwork by Frank Ape features a whimsical, furry creature sitting in a window, contentedly holding a book with "I ♥ NY" on the cover. This highly instagrammable optical illusion is a crowd favorite commissioned on the side of the Arlo hotel. -- Painted on the 6th floor exterior of the Arlo Hotel Soho - I LOVE a good NYC surprise. There's so much to see that we can miss some amazing things and this is a fun easter egg if you look up close to the entrance of the Hudson Tunnel.”
