Jota Lopez

Jota López is a multidisciplinary artist from Spain born in 1995. Jota trained as an Industrial Designer, dedicating himself professionally to Graphic and 3D Design, in parallel with muralism. The influence of these artistic fields is reflected in the style and technique of the works he currently creates, creating compositions full of color and playing with the fusion of shapes, the technique of realism and some optical effects that provide a visual character typical of the modern digital world, using the spray technique. The style, if a name had to be appropriate, could be called abstract portrait along with a retro-digital aesthetic. His best project to date is the art direction and design the SFDK new music album, in addition to a huge mural (8 x 12m) of the album cover in Seville. SFDK is one of the best spanish rap bands and one of the pioneers of hip hop culture in Spain and Latam. Now he is focused on a big scale murals and design collaborations. He painted at some festivals with huge murals like Graffitea Cheste, Artaero Rap, Mes que Murs, Astarte, 23700 Linares by Rampa.Pro with Belin and Muraltalaz, being the hugest 20m x 12m. I started painting graffiti on 2008 and murals 4 years ago, creating my own style and trying to paint at all of festivals i could. Currently, i am focused on a huge scale murals and expand my art and style around the world.
