Progress Shot

A figure kneels on the sidewalk, spray can raised, actively painting across a brick wall in Progress Shot, a mural by Jukes Paints in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The work documents the act of creation itself, capturing the artist mid-gesture against a composition that merges completed and emerging sections. To the right, a monochromatic portrait rendered in black and gray establishes a figurative anchor, while the left side erupts with geometric sections in red, orange, and yellow that radiate outward in layered stripes.
