Kac

KAC is a Japanese mural artist born in Hiroshima and currently based in Hyogo, Japan. Rooted in graffiti and street culture, he has developed his practice through large-scale mural projects, public art, and collaborations with artists and communities in Japan and internationally. Working primarily with spray paint, KAC creates bold, character-driven imagery filled with movement, raw emotion, humor, and tension. His work draws inspiration from everyday encounters, personal experiences, local culture, myths, folklore, and the unique atmosphere of each location. For KAC, every wall has its own identity. Its scale, architecture, texture, history, and surrounding environment become part of the creative process. He approaches each mural as a site-specific work, adapting his visual language to the space while maintaining the energy and spontaneity rooted in graffiti. From large exterior walls to public and commercial spaces, KAC aims to create murals that become part of the landscape and build a direct connection between the artwork, the place, and the people who experience it.
