Kilia Llano
Multidisciplinary artist from the Dominican Republic, whose practice merges public art, education, and environmental consciousness. She holds a BFA in Fine Arts and Illustration from Altos de Chavón and Parsons School of Design, and an MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art, where she was awarded the Bonnie De-Witt Fund. Her work has been featured in over 30 public art events in the Dominican Republic, the U.S., Colombia, and Europe. Notable projects include Muralizar la Frontera (Ministry of Culture, DR), Connections (Urban Field Station, U.S. Forest Service), and Miches 001 (Dominican Public Art Commission). In 2024, she received a full scholarship to attend the Global Artivism Conference in South Africa.
