Lourans Mikhail

I was born in Baghdad, Iraq, raised in Chicago Il. since the age of two, and a U.S. Marine Veteran of 13 years. I strive to evoke a visceral response in the viewer, creating a thought-provoking experience that challenges preconceived notions and invites an exploration of multiple perspectives. Encompassing a diverse range of media, from paintings in acrylic, oil, and spray paint, to intricate sculptures in ceramic, rock, wood, and metal. My art draws inspiration from a wide range of stylistic influences, incorporating elements of graffiti, typography, low-brow, and pop surrealism to create a bold, cohesive aesthetic that captures the climate of our ever-evolving society.
