Mon Devane

Mon Devane is an urban artist born in Ourense who has used spray as the main tool in all his artistic work since 2003. With deep graffiti roots, he begins with the old school, exploring different possibilities through shapes, letters... but the relentless search for his own style takes him towards a marked stage whose work acquires a realistic character. Currently his painting focuses on making portraits through a photorealistic and monochromatic style. He works on large formats, where every detail is magnified, seeking to convey views that tell things, lives, traditions and stories. Since 2016, he has participated in a large number of urban art events and festivals around the world, showing his work in countries such as the United States, Mexico, Jamaica, Bolivia, Italy, France, England... even in the Arab Emirates . In March 2021, the exhibition "The Stars of the Camino" inaugurated, curated by the Estrella Galicia brewery, a huge artistic gallery, with more than 140Km of route along the French Way that covers the 7 stages that go from O Cebreiro to Santiago of Compostela.
