Nada Mergawi

I’m an Egyptian painter. I graduated in Faculty of Fine Arts “Painting Department in Cairo 2016” I hold 29 years of memories wherever I go. They can be mine or someone else’s. Memories and personal stories are my greatest inspiration in everything I do, whether it’s a commissioned mural or a birthday gift. My work is usually based on moments, stories and personal experiences depicted through mixing & matching different elements, styles and eras to complete a relatable artwork, that puts people in a certain state of mind rather than following a concept. I choose to make this through murals that people would pass by after a long working day or while stuck in traffic jam to get an inner subjective feeling.
