I am an interdisciplinary artist and arts educator based near Savannah, Georgia. I am Black, Cuban, and Caribbean, and my work is rooted in exploring immigration, women’s labor, family, and community relationships. Working across painting, needlework, and public art, I draw from textile traditions and narrative practices to create layered, story-driven compositions. My creative process is guided by a commitment to care, cultural reclamation, and connection. I use art as a way to hold personal and collective memory, often centering themes of migration, resilience, and repair. Through both studio work and collaborative public projects, I aim to create spaces that invite reflection, initiative, and a deeper sense of belonging.
