“This mural was commissioned by the NYC Health + Hospitals program, and painted in collaboration with the hospital community and staff during 3 consecutive paint days. The mural reflects community input on flowers that are meaningful to the staff, based on their countries of origin, and powerful healing experiences they have had. It was unveiled during a ribbon cutting ceremony with the hospital director and board members.”
