Welcome to GOMAD Urban Art Studio, led by Marcus Debie (1972) — better known as GOMAD, an acclaimed Dutch mural artist with over 35 years of experience. From large-scale murals and intricate graffiti art to innovative street art and ambitious public art projects, we bring walls to life across the globe from the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, England, Italy, Croatia, Czech Republic, Albania, Bulgaria, Sweden, Switzerland, Ireland, Greece, Spain, United States all the way to Australia.

I am inspired by and love to work with eyes, faces, hands and nature, resulting in a strong composition. Colors versus concrete, always with an eye for detail and attention to the environment. Small details create the bigger picture.

Whether it’s revitalizing a neighborhood with an iconic mural, curating site-specific street art, or contributing to international art projects, GOMAD merges artistic vision with local stories. Every project is unique: rooted in community, yet unmistakably marked by GOMAD’s signature style.

My work can be characterized by a layered fusion of photorealistic mural artwith surreal influences, combined with bold graphic and organic color elements, creating striking images that connect people to their surroundings. We collaborate with governments, municipalities, mural festivals, street art festivals, urban art festivals, and cultural organizations to transform public spaces into open-air galleries.
