About Uta Brauser aka fishwithbraids
Based in Detroit, Michigan

I am Uta, German, New Yorker by choice and now also Detroiter by choice. I have been active in street art in Nyc, with activist work, murals and organizing mural projects, now doing the same in Detroit MI. I do both large scale sculptural work and murals. My art is mainly about the human, our expressions, human consciousness, the power of mind and spirit. I understand the presence of art in public spaces and the positive and/or communicative impact it has on communities. Art is a peace maker and shines divine light.
