“What was the last wish you made? I’m afraid to tell you mine because what if it might not come true anymore? What if, by speaking it aloud, I somehow jinx it? Never mind, I’ll keep it to myself. Wishes are important, though, aren’t they? They serve as a map of sorts, guiding us toward something we desire but don’t yet have. They make us pause and imagine what’s still missing, what could still be. Wishes have this magical ability to help us dream beyond the present, to focus on something better, something brighter, something that hasn't yet materialized. To see what has not yet been seen. And what more could one wish for than for the very wish itself to come true?”
