New Artist Pages and Mural Pages Designed to Expand Your Reach

January 17, 2026

At WXLLSPACE, we’re constantly refining how artwork lives online. Not just how it looks, but how it’s discovered, understood, and remembered. Over the past few weeks, we’ve rolled out two major updates to the platform: improved artist landing pages and brand-new mural pages for every mural image on the site. Together, these updates create more clarity for viewers and more reach for artists.

Artist Landing Pages: Clearer, Cleaner, More Readable

Artist landing pages are often the first touchpoint someone has with your work. We redesigned key elements to make these pages easier to navigate and more effective at telling your story.

First, we introduced a Read More option for long biographies. Many artists on WXLLSPACE have deep backgrounds, layered practices, and meaningful narratives. Previously, long bios could overwhelm the page visually. Now, biographies open in a controlled, expandable format that keeps the page clean while still giving visitors full access to your story when they want to go deeper.

Second, we improved how cover images are displayed. The cover image is now presented with better scaling and visual balance across devices, ensuring that the first impression of your work is intentional and not cropped or compressed in ways that dilute impact.

You can see these updates live on artist pages like Nate Dee’s artist profile, where the work, bio, and visual hierarchy feel deliberate rather than cluttered.

Individual Mural Pages: One Artwork, One Page, Full Context

The most significant update is the launch of individual mural pages for every mural image on WXLLSPACE.

Each mural now lives on its own dedicated page, separate from the artist’s main profile. These pages are designed to do three things simultaneously: document the work, contextualize it editorially, and expand its discoverability online.

A mural page includes the artist’s name, the mural title, location, and associated art styles. In addition, each page features an editorial description generated with AI assistance. These descriptions are not generic captions. They are written to interpret the artwork, describe its visual language, and connect it to broader art styles and geographic context.

For example, a mural tagged with surrealism in Miami now lives on a page that explicitly references surrealist visual language and its presence in that city. This matters because search engines do not understand images on their own. They understand structured language, relationships, and context.

Why This Matters for Artists

These updates are not cosmetic. They are strategic.

When someone searches for a specific art style in a specific city, individual mural pages allow your name and your work to surface in those searches. Instead of competing as a single artist page, each mural becomes its own indexed asset on the internet.

Over time, this compounds. One artist with ten murals now has ten searchable pages tied to their name, style, and location. This improves visibility, strengthens personal brand authority, and creates long-term digital presence beyond social media.

Why This Matters for Developers and Partners

For developers, cities, and property owners, mural pages provide a clear record of completed work. Each page functions as a case study, showing how art lives in a real environment, tied to a real artist, with a defined style and narrative.

This makes it easier to evaluate artists, reference past projects, and understand how artwork fits into a broader visual and cultural context.

A Platform Built for Longevity

These updates reflect how we think about WXLLSPACE. Not as a portfolio site, not as a directory, but as a system that documents public art in a way that lasts.

Artist pages tell the story of the person.

Mural pages tell the story of the work.

Together, they create a searchable, structured archive of contemporary murals across cities.

We’ll continue building tools that help artists gain visibility and help partners make confident decisions. These changes are just the foundation.
