In a world that often feels disconnected, both within ourselves and with sthe natural world, my art seeks to reveal the intricate interconnectedness of everything. Through public art and muralism, I challenge our perception of the built environment, reimagining it as a vibrant tapestry of its components, each floating in space-time and embodying the soul of our shared existence. This is what I call “architectural animism”—a celebration of the past, present, and future, collectively serving as portals to dream. These projects serve to create moments of ‘Awe’, granting us perspective and appreciation. When we exist in public space, we can become so often engrossed in people, objects, internal thoughts, struggles, and dreams that we may overlook our connection to each other and to our surroundings. Do we not remember that the walls in front of us were designed and built for a purpose? The seemingly insignificant details of daily life are often ignored and deemed unimportant. However, these details showcase the spirit of the place, They bring mindfulness to the mundane. By overtly representing these overlooked details, we create space for an appreciation of everything around us. My work aims to capture this essence, encouraging viewers to embrace the complexity of our world and find solace in the connections that continually embrace us. Through a kaleidoscopic gaze, I invite viewers everyone to envision alternative subjective realities and relish in the interconnectedness that defines our shared journey. I want to celebrate the color that is life.
