The decades of corporate-influenced motifs that now fill our urban built-environments have skewed to overwhelmingly reflect the mundane—adrift in squares, drabness, and a palette of earthy hues. Maximizing profit while subduing expression and dissent through increasingly sleek, chic, and minimalist environments. Determined to combat this ennui, I have been creating site-specific murals installations and community art projects that boldly defy the conventions of our traditional surroundings. Embracing the color and complexity of the people that make our cities what they are. Art is inherently political.
