The geometry of it all.
I have aimed to democratize contemporary art's accessibility and challenge the status quo by subverting the built-environment through a kaleidoscopic gaze. The decades of corporate-influenced motifs that now fill our urban built-environments have skewed to overwhelmingly reflect the mundane—adrift in squares, drabness, and a palette of earthy hues. Maximizing profit while subduing expression and dissent through increasingly sleek, chic, and minimalist environments. Determined to combat this ennui, I have been creating site-specific murals installations and community art projects that boldly defy the conventions of our traditional surroundings. Embracing the color and complexity of the people that make our cities what they are. Art is inherently political.

My visual inspiration stems from the precision of architectural design, the politics of decay and urban graffiti, and the balance and fluidity of graphic design. I aim to evoke emotions and convey a sense of possibility—the energy and chaos inherent in the universe upon closer inspection. If a figurative design tells us a narrative story, unfolding like the pages of a book, I aspire to instead offer the viewer a microscope, or a portal to an alternate reality.
