I am a painter focused primarily in large scale oil paintings and murals. My practice is rooted in fluid brushwork and figurative imagery. I draw from the natural world and everyday life with my children. Nature and motherhood are constant sources of inspiration for me, both wild, tender, and ever changing. Public art brings meaningful work out of galleries and museums and injects it into real places where all walks of life can engage with it. I see public art as an opportunity to create moments of beauty, connection, and reflection. Art that speaks to the human experience and honors the environments we move through every day. I want to create work that feels alive, responsive, and rooted in a sense of place.
