My name is BC. I’m a native New Yorker, born in Spanish Harlem, and raised in Da Bronx. My roots run deep in both these neighborhoods. Beauty is birthed in many different ways. For me, my love of art started at a young age. I’ve been influenced by people and circumstance. Tragedy brought me to where I am today. My art is my way of expressing beauty through color, dimension and words. I have created pieces, street art and canvases, that I hope will bring people to a beautiful place, one that puts a smile on their face and in their heart, evoking feelings of love, hope, faith, joy, comfort and compassion and makes them feel alive. If this happens, then I have accomplished something special.
