“In Ornamental Spoonbill, Bublegum turns his gaze to the rich biodiversity of Beaumont, Texas, with a vibrant tribute to one of its most striking native species—the roseate spoonbill. Known for its vivid pink feathers and unique bill, this bird inhabits the wetlands surrounding the city and symbolizes the delicate beauty of local ecosystems. Through his signature ornamental style, the artist brings the spoonbill to life with flowing patterns, refined detail, and dynamic use of light. The mural reflects a deep respect for nature and a desire to celebrate the unique identity of each place through its wildlife. By spotlighting a species so closely tied to Beaumont’s natural heritage, Ornamental Spoonbill becomes both a local homage and a universal call to appreciate and protect the beauty that surrounds us.”
