Bublegum

Tirso Paz, known as Bublegum, has been painting for 20 years. His artistic development has been self-taught, drawing inspiration from various disciplines such as tattooing and sculpture. Over time, he has evolved into a multidisciplinary artist, creating murals around the world and showcasing his works in international galleries.

Tirso's striking artistic style blends realism with dynamic graffiti elements, adding movement and energy to his work. His primary sources of inspiration are female portraits and elements of nature, which he transforms into visually captivating compositions with meticulous attention to detail, where light plays a crucial role.

In 2020, driven by the desire to take his art further, Bublegum introduced what he now calls the "Ornamental Style" a unique fusion of animals and intricate filigree. Fascinated by ornamental designs often found in architectural facades, he began translating his vision into various mediums. This approach unlocks endless creative possibilities, bringing to life elaborate visual narratives in both small and large formats.

Bublegum aims to create a natural connection between his works and their surroundings, crafting highly detailed murals and beautifying urban areas. His unique style has led him to paint at Wynwood Walls, the world’s most important open-air museum during Art Basel 2024 week. In January 2025 he received the award for Best Mural in the World in the Artist Choice category, awarded by the Streetartcities platform.

Today, he balances his time between creating large-scale murals, transforming his vision into canvases, and producing digital illustrations. His artistic career has earned him the prestigious O-1 visa, and he now divides his time between projects in the United States and Europe. Constantly challenging the limits of his creativity, he remains a fresh and influential presence in the urban art scene, always thinking about his next piece and how to surpass the previous one.
