“This mural holds a special place in Bublegum’s heart, painted in his hometown of Lugo near the neighborhood where he grew up, close to a small park called Carballeira (Oak Tree). It serves as a heartfelt tribute to both this cherished place and Galician culture. The central figure embodies the queen of the Galician forest—part meiga (witch), part guardian—symbolizing the magic and strength of nature. Acting as a serene bridge between the city and the woods, the mural reflects a deep connection to heritage and the enchanting spirit of the land. Through Bublegum’s signature ornamental style, the piece captures the mystical essence of Galicia while celebrating its natural beauty and cultural identity. ”
