Carleen De Sözer

A self taught artist drawing pictures from very young, I was told if I was bored I should go draw something, so that’s exactly what I would do being an only child up until the age of 9 there were a lot of bored moments growing up. My style is graphic realism, afro futurism and heavily inspired by hip hop culture growing up in the 90’s. I love to paint characters that inspire and influence mostly people of colour, women but also resonate with people who have a love for street art.
