Congo is a Peruvian artist and muralist currently residing in the United States (Michigan). His career began on the streets of Lima as a graffiti artist in 2011. With over 14 years of experience as an urban muralist, he has complemented his career with a degree in art direction and graphic design, and has also worked in various spaces in the United States and other South American countries. His artwork seeks to explore nature and its interaction with the human environment, often cold and impersonal. He aims to generate powerful sensations through the combination of colors and forms, elements of strong and imposing character. Natural forms break with superficiality and allow us to experience the essence of humanity introspectively, connecting with the meaning the work may hold and allowing the viewer to freely express their feelings. He enjoys playing with planes and the arrangement of elements to create sensations and conceptualize multiple ideas in a single space, using large-scale elements to achieve greater visual impact.
