Carson Deyoung (Aka Deps) intertwines his love for surrealism, typography, and mixed media collage to forge an art uniquely his own. His journey into creating murals started with an accumulation of visual inspiration from almost a decade's worth of collage work on canvas. Yearning for the creative freedom to work on a larger scale, he made the decision to transfer his work onto walls. Finding creative and thoughtful ways to translate his art to his surroundings, to the people, and the community around him, the influences of Carson’s extensive travels and romance with typography are evidenced and incorporated in his work that is constantly emerging anew.
