About JB Nice
Hi! My name is JB Nice. I am a Muralist based out of Venice Beach CA as well out of Wehawken NJ. I have done large format murals in Los Angeles and Venice Beach CA, as well as in Brooklyn. I have also been commissioned by the city of Venice CA to create large scale street sculptures.
I have two distinct styles. One is a largely illustrative based contemporary style, using bright cheery color-theory expressed through strong line-work, perspective and movement. My second style is from my fine art background. These murals create a 3 Dimensional serene space and bring large- scale peaceful and dramatic landscapes to urban city-scapes.
In both cases, my work is designed to catch the attention of the viewer and to transport them away instantaneously. Both my fine-art paintings and my mural work are designed for large format applications and to be easily readable at a distance. I look forward to creating beautiful, uplifting spaces around the world, one locale at a time.
