The mural titled Standard Assembly by artist Joe Geis presents a compelling landscape of colorful geometric shapes that bloom across the wall in Nashville, Tennessee. Positioned adjacent to a poolside area, the mural captures the eye with its interlocking forms in shades of blue, orange, green, and purple, creating a vivid backdrop for leisure and relaxation.
The overall composition plays with overlapping shapes that guide the viewer's gaze across the expansive wall. Geometric elements interact dynamically, forming a cohesive visual flow that invites exploration. The use of color is deliberate; deep blues contrast with bright oranges and lush greens, enhancing the mural's energetic presence while maintaining balance. The light purples and soft greens add moments of calm, cohesively integrating the array of hues.
