Olivia Di Liberto

I am a mural artist, illustrator, designer and painter. I completed my graphic design diploma in 2015 where I began to develop my illustration skills and style. I quickly acquired a love for painting, which in turn, eventually allowed me to go large scale and design public murals and art for commercial projects. My work makes reference to my interests on culture, history and the elements of my surrounding landscapes. I takes inspiration from youth iconography, mythic narrative, and the styles and objects of a range of subcultures—including tattooing, still life, romanticism and psychedelia.

My artistic style is unique, engaging and highly recognizable, characterized by curated color palettes that seamlessly harmonize. Rooted in graphic and illustrative elements, my expression draws inspiration from the vibrant world of pop art and conveys a feeling of cultural nostalgia and relevance. The versatility of my style shines through in its ability to transition between highly detailed compositions and more minimalistic designs, adapting to the demands of each unique project. The playful nature of my work adds dynamic energy, making it engaging and appealing. Notably, my designs are crafted to resonate with a broad audience, striking a balance that makes it suitable for all age groups.

I have worked on a number of notable mural projects and commissions including Vancouver Mural Festival in 2019, Kelowna Mural Festival 2021, Squamish Art walk 2021 and more.
