Stefan Smit is a contemporary artist who works predominantly in figurative portraiture on a large scale. He recently had five pieces in the LA Art Fair and just had a solo show at Abend Gallery in Denver, CO. His work has acquired acclaim as he's been invited to work for a variety of companies including Nike, Ray-Ban, SONY, Standard Bank, Showmax, Netflix, Lyle & Scott, EMI Records among others. His unique style has allowed him to work on a broad spectrum of projects, enabling him to travel to various countries like Dubai, USA, UK, Denmark and others for commissioned work. “Although I’m extremely passionate about my art I also love the opportunity to meet new people and experience new cultures which is a central theme in all my work, human connection.”
