My name is Stefan Smith, I'm a passionate artist and muralist based in Coral Springs, Fl who uses art as a medium to transform space and guide it towards a spatial experience. I have been painting large scale murals for 6 years, and I
originally became interested in transforming the world through design during
my tenure at FAU’s Masters of Architecture program. Since graduating in 2015
I worked in the architecture and design field for 3 years only to realize art &
large scale murals are my true passion.
As an artist of color it’s important to me to be inclusive, thus In my practice I
aim to focus on people as center points in my designs and I compliment that
with my background in architectural education where I gather information that guides my abstract elements into my mural designs that are surrounded by foliage and or plants, and people. The core of my artistic passion lies in the transformative potential of mural art, as I derive immense satisfaction from imparting inspiration to those around me. In my view, art possesses a unique ability to heal and inspire, transcending all other conventional mediums.
Ultimately my artistic practice is driven by a dedication to inclusivity, informed by architectural education, and motivated by a desire to inspire and heal through mural art.
