My artwork is inspired by energy, culture, and music. I create most of my work listening to a lot of Reggae, Afrobeats, Blues and ethereal music. When I’m painting I enjoy color and when I’m drawing I love graphite pencil. Influenced by the visionary art genre and surrealism combined with realism. Balancing the two has always been my goal. I love to do portraits because I love people and expressing their spirit. I traveled to Central America in March to Guatemala and Costa Rica and unexpectedly ended up walking into art exhibit opportunities and a mural gig. I spent 3 days in San Pedro, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala with the local Maya people in exchange for housing and stay, I painted a mural in a small family restaurant from sun up to sun down. I enjoy traveling and being able to enhance people’s spaces, working with their vision.
