Tirso Paz, known artistically as Bublegum, is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist and the visionary creator behind the distinctive Ornamental Style. He began painting walls at the age of 16, building an entirely self-taught practice that has evolved into an international career spanning large-scale murals, studio works, and digital creations. His artistic development is deeply influenced by disciplines such as tattooing, sculpture, and contemporary urban culture. Through the Ornamental Style, Bublegum has developed a powerful visual language that brings together wildlife, nature, portraiture, and intricate filigree. Inspired by the decorative façades of Baroque architecture, he reinterprets these elaborate ornamental motifs into a refined contemporary urban expression. The result is a series of eye-catching compositions that merge classical elegance with the raw energy and scale of street art. Beyond their aesthetic impact, his pieces serve as visual landmarks designed to connect with their surroundings, celebrating nature while raising awareness for wildlife conservation and endangered species. His work has been exhibited in prestigious international galleries such as Goldman Global Arts, Thinkspace Projects, Known Gallery, Aurum Gallery, and Wyn 317, while his murals can be found in cities around the world. Within the urban art scene, he has participated in iconic mural festivals and initiatives including Wynwood Walls, North West Walls, and the Beaumont Mural Festival, alongside educational and community-driven projects with Beyond Walls in Lynn. Bublegum’s versatility has led to high-profile collaborations with global brands like Revlon, Moxy Hotels, and TCL, cultural figures such as Pau Gasol, and major international events including the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina. His work has been commissioned by public institutions such as the Comunidad de Madrid and the city of Blanes, and extends into the music industry through large-scale visual projects for major festivals like Insomniac, Elrow, Reggae Rise Up, Cruïlla Barcelona, and Rock Werchter. Today, Bublegum continues to expand his artistic universe from his studio and through large-scale public installations worldwide constantly pushing the boundaries of his Ornamental Style while exploring new ways to merge detail, scale, and storytelling.

Celebrating Beaumont’s rich biodiversity, Bublegum’s Ornamental Spoonbill is a vibrant tribute to the roseate bird native to the area. Created at the Civic Center, the mural combines ornamental design with natural beauty, highlighting the species’ distinctive features. It honors local wildlife while promoting environmental awareness, transforming nature into a powerful visual and symbolic centerpiece of place-based art.

Ornamental Swan
Created for the Perla Mural Fest in Galicia, this project celebrates Sala Perla and its rich musical heritage. Rooted in the concept of music and inspired by Tchaikovsky’s legendary ballet Swan Lake, the mural features a majestic swan as its central figure, translating classical elegance, movement, and drama through Bublegum’s Ornamental Style. Fluid patterns suggest an invisible melody, while a vibrant and colorful palette brings energy to the space and captures the festive spirit of the event.

Time of realization: 7 days This mural is one of my most personal projects, with my soulmate, Ana, as its protagonist. She has been by my side through every step of my career, always supporting me and keeping me grounded. For me, this piece is about sharing your life and creative path with someone who believes in you and grows with you along the way. It felt especially meaningful to paint it in the city where we live and have built our life together.
