This window (temporary mural)

“In 2019 I was awarded a Sustainable Little Tokyo “Windows of Little Tokyo” grant to create public window art about aspects of the neighborhood. Since it was to be printed as a vinyl window decal, I designed it in Photoshop and InDesign and submitted appropriately sized, rasterized image files. This mural was installed at the Little Tokyo branch of the Los Angeles Public Library (2019), and consisted of two contiguous translucent windows on the inside facing an interior courtyard. It featured an original poem translated into Japanese and Spanish. Budget: $500”
